This is a study of the second satyr David, Named after the statue. He is a more traditonal satyr with dark hair and the thick devil beard. I tried to give him more goat like ears like griff but they looked too floppy on him, his features are too distinct. so i have been studying instead Ibex rather than Mountian goats. Their ears are a little more perky. I also have tried to work in how daves hair in his beard and eventually when i draw it his legs, have a more cowlicked feel. like a rex. rather than the more free flowing hair I use on Griffith.
I may choose to leave davids ears human. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
